Jitske Kramer, corporate anthropologist, awarded as the best trainer of the year 2013/2014 by the NOBTRA (Dutch Association of Professional Trainers). The jury especially awarded her for adding anthropologist elements that are unknown in the world of trainers yet. In particular, her work in the field of Deep Democracy offers an additional range of intervention options that until now were unknown. Inclusion will be the topic of her speech.

Beate Bouwman, introduces healthy, energy-friendly, sustainable and affordable housing. Running her own building company and a background in economics she does what is actually called lean construction: shorten the chain of custody to bring high and healthy quality to the people. Cradle to Cradle, Passive House, building biology, water management are just some of the buzzwords which demonstrates Bouwman’s experience, ambition and knowhow. She strongly combines passion for environmental building with a “can do” mentality. Her motto: “Reset your mindset”.

Gerard Hellwig, brain expert. More and more people suffer from information overload, stress and burnout. He developed a number of key solutions that ensure more productive people that are able to survive the information age. At the same time this ensures that people will be more happy and have a better work/life balance.

Barbara Meyer zu Altenschildesche, who brought back the ‘mangalitza’ (a special breed of Hungarian pigs) into our local environment and culture. There are some mangalitza species walking around in one of our town parks, the Kromsloot Park, to battle against the giant hogweed. Furthermore the meat of the Mangalitza is far more healthy than of any other kind of pig.

DJ FemmeTastic will support TEDxAlmere by musical interludes and poet Mario Withoud will recite some poems.

And besides all these inspiring speeches and performances, Nicholas ‘Shaker’ Singer, the choreographer of Avro Junior Dance and So You Think You Can Dance, will shake you up with a spectacular dance performance.
